Most people who know me, know how much I loved THE WOLFHOUNDS & think they were woefully over looked… Jo from FRINGE ON TOP has just reminisced about a fun & violent WOLFHOUNDS evening in Aldershot which I have mentioned before… So I thought I would load up a gig that was a little bit more even tempered, the only disturbing incident to report being Andrew from JESSE GARON & THE DESPERADOES leg’s. Which not only resembled a pair of pipe cleaners hanging from a pair of Eric Morecambe khaki shorts, but were the ultimate homage to the sickly white, pasty, Anglo-Saxon in being that even if they spent 3 weeks under a sun-bed they would still be the colour of… Tippex.

Just got around to loading up the first WOLFHOUNDS Peel Session, following on from the second one I posted a few years back… Saw them a little while ago.. They were still pretty fine. Back in 1986-1987 I really could understand why they were not a global phenomenon.. I still love them. I could never worked out why “Public Footpath Blues” was never on any of the compilations… Shame.
